Two of them apply to docs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Topics<\/strong> &#8211; nested, docs only. These are the chapters and sections of your knowledge base.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Products<\/strong> &#8211; flat, shared by docs <em>and<\/em> tickets. They can be assigned to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Docs, in the doc editor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tickets, in the ticket editor and on the public new-ticket form<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why this matters for addresses<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If your doc URL structure includes the topic &#8211; <code>docs\/&lt;topic&gt;\/doc-slug<\/code> &#8211; then every doc needs at least one topic. When a doc has more than one, the first one assigned is the one used in the address. The same rule applies to product-based structures.
