Everything about the widget is set on NiroHelp \u2192 AI \u2192 Chatbot<\/strong>. This page walks through every field, what it does, and what the visitor sees when you leave it alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auto-open value<\/strong><\/td>\u2014<\/td>Seconds for the delay option, a percentage for the scroll option.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Auto-open fires at most once per visit<\/strong>, so visitors are not prompted again on every page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advanced \u2192 Where it appears<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two fields, both taking a comma-separated list of paths. *<\/code> matches anything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Show on:  \/docs\/*, \/pricing        only on the docs and pricing pages\nHide on:  \/checkout\/*, \/admin\/*    everywhere except those\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n
Leave Show on<\/strong> blank for every page. Hide wins<\/strong> when a path matches both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Only the path is matched – anything after a ?<\/code> or a #<\/code> is ignored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two rules worth knowing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Hours are read in the visitor’s own local time<\/strong>, not yours.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The end hour is exclusive<\/strong>, so 9-17<\/code> means 09:00 to 16:59.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Day ranges wrap around: fri-mon<\/code> means Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    “Collect lead” does nothing today.<\/strong> The checkbox is on the screen and the setting is saved, but the widget currently ignores it. Do not rely on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    Turning it off without losing your settings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Set Show on<\/strong> to a path that never matches – \/never-match-this-path<\/code> – or remove the snippet from the site. Your configuration is kept either way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
    If you write your own snippet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    Everything above is expressed as attributes on the snippet, and the plugin leaves out anything still at its default – which is why your snippet is short.
