Everything about the widget is set on NiroHelp \u2192 AI \u2192 Chatbot<\/strong>. This page
\nwalks through every field, what it does, and what the visitor sees when you

Two fields, both taking a comma-separated list of paths. *<\/code> matches anything.<\/p>\n

Show on:  \/docs\/*, \/pricing        only on the docs and pricing pages\nHide on:  \/checkout\/*, \/admin\/*    everywhere except those\n<\/code><\/pre>\n
Leave Show on<\/strong> blank for every page. Hide wins<\/strong> when a path matches both.<\/p>\n
Only the path is matched \u2014 anything after a ?<\/code> or a #<\/code> is ignored.<\/p>\n

Two rules worth knowing:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • Hours are read in the visitor’s own local time<\/strong>, not yours.<\/li>\n
  • The end hour is exclusive<\/strong>, so 9-17<\/code> means 09:00 to 16:59.<\/li>\n
  • Day ranges wrap around: fri-mon<\/code> means Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    “Collect lead” does nothing today.<\/strong> The checkbox is on the screen and the
    \nsetting is saved, but the widget currently ignores it. Do not rely on it.<\/p>\n
    Turning it off without losing your settings<\/h2>\n
    Set Show on<\/strong> to a path that never matches \u2014 \/never-match-this-path<\/code> \u2014 or
    \nremove the snippet from the site. Your configuration is kept either way.<\/p>\n
    If you write your own snippet<\/h2>\n
    Everything above is expressed as attributes on the snippet, and the plugin
    \nleaves out anything still at its default \u2014 which is why your snippet is short.
    \nIf you generate snippets from your own tooling, keep the same size limits: a
