Every source is listed whether or not it is<br \/>\n   available \u2014 an unavailable one is greyed out rather than hidden, so you can<br \/>\n   see the importer exists before installing anything.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>NiroHelp \u2192 Settings \u2192 Migration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Find your source in the grid and click <strong>Migrate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Watch the progress summary.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Each batch handles a small number of items and then hands back control, so a<br \/>\nlong migration does not time out. <strong>You can close the page and come back<\/strong> \u2014<br \/>\nprogress is saved on the server, not in your browser, and the run picks up where<br \/>\nit left off.<\/p>\n<p>The screen shows the importer&#8217;s own status wording. If a run has stalled, it<br \/>\nwill say so rather than rounding up to &#8220;finished&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2>It is safe to run twice<\/h2>\n<p>Every imported item is marked as having come from that source, and re-running<br \/>\nskips anything already brought across. <strong>Migrating twice never creates<br \/>\nduplicates<\/strong>, which makes it practical to migrate periodically while you<br \/>\ntransition.<\/p>\n<h2>Undoing a migration<\/h2>\n<p>Each source has a <strong>Clean Up<\/strong> button beside <strong>Migrate<\/strong>. Your<br \/>\n   newly imported docs are not in the AI&#8217;s knowledge base until you do. See<br \/>\n   <a href=\"https:\/\/nirohelp.com\/docs\/ai-assistance\/syncing-docs\/\">Syncing docs to the AI<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Check your addresses.<\/strong> If the old plugin used a different URL structure,<br \/>\n   pick the right one under <strong>Settings \u2192 Documentation \u2192 Permalinks<\/strong> and set up<br \/>\n   redirects from the old addresses with any redirection plugin.
