There is nothing to register, no key<br>\nis needed to activate it, and nothing is sent anywhere when you switch it on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>WordPress<\/strong> 6.0 or newer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PHP<\/strong> 7.4 or newer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A WordPress site you can install plugins on \u2014 any host, any theme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The optional AI features (chatbot, auto responder, doc sync) connect to the<br>\nNiroHelp AI service and need a one-time site registration. Everything else \u2014<br>\ndocs, tickets, emails, migration \u2014 works with no connection at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install from a ZIP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. In WordPress admin, go to <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New \u2192 Upload Plugin<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Click <strong>Activate Plugin<\/strong> when the upload finishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"571\" height=\"285\" src=\"https:\/\/nirohelp.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/NiroHelp-Activate.webp\" alt=\"NiroHelp Activate\" class=\"wp-image-96\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nirohelp.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/NiroHelp-Activate.webp 571w, https:\/\/nirohelp.com\/docs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/NiroHelp-Activate-300x150.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 571px) 100vw, 571px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A new top-level <strong>NiroHelp<\/strong> menu appears in the admin sidebar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Install manually over SFTP<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Copy the <code>nirohelp<\/code> folder (not the zip itself) into your site&#8217;s plugins folder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Plugins<\/strong> in WordPress admin.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find <strong>NiroHelp<\/strong> in the list and click <strong>Activate<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What activation sets up<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Activating NiroHelp adds:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Docs<\/strong> and <strong>Tickets<\/strong>, two new content types with their own admin screens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Topics<\/strong> (for docs), <strong>Reasons<\/strong> (for tickets) and <strong>Products<\/strong> (shared by both).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eight ticket statuses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three new user roles \u2014 NiroHelp Manager, NiroHelp Agent and NiroHelp User.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It also <strong>creates three pages<\/strong> for the public side of the site and selects<br>\nthem in settings. The next guide walks through them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>No new database tables are created.<\/strong> Docs and tickets are stored as ordinary<br>\nWordPress content, ticket conversations as comments, and clients as WordPress<br>\nusers. That means your usual backup covers NiroHelp with no extra step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What happens if you delete the plugin<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deleting NiroHelp through <strong>Plugins \u2192 Delete<\/strong> removes almost nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Your docs, tickets, conversations, topics, reasons, products, roles, client<br>\naccounts and all your settings survive<\/strong> a delete and reinstall. That is<br>\ndeliberate \u2014 an accidental deactivation should never destroy a support history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The flip side is that uninstalling is <em>not<\/em> a way to reset the plugin. To start<br>\nfrom a clean slate you have to delete the content and settings yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deactivating also stops the daily dashboard briefing from being generated.
