The chatbot, the auto responder, Ask NiroHelp and the Sync Docs button all
talk to the NiroHelp AI service. Before any of them work, your site has to be
registered once and the key you are sent verified.
Where the screen is #
NiroHelp → AI. It is its own screen, not a tab inside Settings. The
Connectivity card is all you see at first; the rest of the AI sections appear
once the site is connected.
Step 1 — request a key #
- Go to NiroHelp → AI.
- Fill in the AI Connectivity card:
– Your name — the technical contact for this site.
– Email — an address you can read mail at. - Click Send Code.
Your site address, site title, name and email go to the service, which creates
a record for the site and emails you the site key.
Step 2 — verify the key #
- Open your inbox and copy the site key out of the email.
- Paste it into the Site key field on the same card.
- Click Verify.
The status turns to a green Connected and the AI menu appears on the left,
with Connectivity, Instructions, Chatbot and Auto responder.
There is no clickable verification link and no confirmation page. The key
from the email is the whole of it.
Two buttons handle the things that go wrong:
- Resend key requests a new key to the same address.
- Reset clears the pending registration and puts the card back to the name
and email form.
What you get once connected #
- Sync Docs, under Knowledge Base on the same card, which feeds your
documentation to the service. - Instructions, Chatbot and — with the tickets module on — Auto
responder in the AI menu. - Ask NiroHelp, the admin assistant, from the dashboard header.
Until the site is connected, links to those sections send you back to the
Connectivity card rather than opening a form that cannot save.
Privacy #
The service stores:
- The documents you sync — their titles and bodies.
- Each chatbot and auto-responder call, with its relevance score.
- Your site key.
It does not receive your WordPress users or your ticket clients, beyond what a
specific auto-responder call sends as context — which is the ticket title, the
client’s name and email, the order reference, the products, the urgency and the
ticket conversation.
Disconnecting #
Click Disconnect on the Connectivity card and confirm. See
Disconnecting and re-registering.
